An evolved iteration of the original You: expansion of the self, presented during the opening of "Collective Aesthetics" — the first physical exhibition by Artsted, a digital platform for contemporary art collecting, held at Scalo Lambrate, The Sanctuary, Milan, curated by Pelin Zeytinci.
For this version, SINTETICO performed a tattoo live on stage using distilled water — a mark designed to heal completely over time, leaving no permanent trace on the skin. The subject, Lera, did not know what would be tattooed: the design was executed free-machine at SINTETICO's discretion during the performance. What remained was not the mark but the recorded experience — minted as an NFT and later displayed at VOLTA Art Fairs during Art Basel.
The only certified and re-accessible output of that night is The Expansion of Lera — the POV footage captured by the camera attached to her forehead throughout the experience, preserved in the microSDXC she carried on her body.
