Lighting design and technical direction for Volo Vivace, a series of intimate live performances dedicated to experimental electronic and electroacoustic music, curated by No Glucose and held at Le Serre dei Giardini Margherita in Bologna.

Developed across the 2025 programme and the opening live performance of the 2026 edition, the project brought together a range of artists within a compact live format, shaped by dark tonalities, controlled contrast and ritual-like atmospheres.

Sintetico Machines designed and operated the lighting environment for the series, approaching light as both a spatial and dramaturgical layer. Rather than framing the performances through a conventional concert setup, the design worked with contrast, haze, shadow and restrained light structures to build dense, intimate environments around each live act.

The result was a sequence of atmospheric interventions in which lighting, sound and presence were treated as a single perceptual field: concentrated, physical and immersive.
